I'll never forget the first time when I ate one of famous Korean street food "Tok bok ki","Kim bab" and "Korean Fried chicken" in childhood.
Tok bok ki was like very strong punch that have very spicy, sweet flavour and chewy texture. It was amazing experience, super spicy and sweet, and hit my mouth with strong punch again and sweet and chewy. I felt like fire work in my mouth. I couldn't get my mind off the feast of various flavours.
Another great memory was when I met "Kimbab" in my life. It looks like sushi roll, but it gives us definately different message.
It is not spicy, but includes a lot of ingredients in a piece. I thought "OMG I can taste a lot of flavours and textures it's like festival.
And Korean fried chicken was crazy. I thought it was food came down from heaven, then I was convinced that there is no better food in this world than this.
Nowadays, there are a lot of Korean food and delicious food, so I can not impressed with the food as I used to. However,I am sure that those great memories became the foundation to make me cook now.
Thoes experiences were the starting point that led to the opening of Sydney's very first Korean street food trailer. At our trailer, we make each food by hand upon order because we want our customers to enjoy at their best; fresh, and make with love, wish that people to feel that emotion when I ate the first Kimbab, Tok bok ki, Fried chicken in my childhood.
